The military operation, carried out by B-2 bombers and nuclear-capable submarines, targeted key facilities at Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan.

Natasha Cloud slams Trump’s Iran strikes as ‘grounds for impeachment’

Cloud took to X to express her disapproval shortly after the strikes, writing, “A sad sad day,” followed by, “Grounds for impeachment.”

She further amplified her stance on Instagram by sharing a post from Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), which stated, “The President’s disastrous decision to bomb Iran without authorization is a grave violation of the Constitution and Congressional War Powers. He has impulsively risked launching a war that may ensnare us for generations. It is absolutely and clearly grounds for impeachment.”

This isn’t the first time Cloud has publicly criticized Trump or echoed voices critical of his administration.

In response to Trump’s plan to eliminate DEI programs, Cloud told The Associated Press, “The systems of power are working as they always were intended to work. And it’s time to break down a system that has only been about White men.”

She added, “I understand the business aspect, and I understand the human aspect. Too often this country has put the human aspect aside, and put profit and money over people.”

Reinforcing her view in a follow-up post on X, she wrote, “Thing is I’m not soft, & words don’t hurt me lol are we 5? it still remains people over profit. If yall truly about being unbiased… Google search any overseas media coverage of what’s happening in America. Then come back to me and tell me the whole world crazy.”

Trump says US strikes ‘obliterated’ Iran’s nuclear sites, warns Tehran to choose ‘peace or tragedy’

On Saturday, President Trump announced that the United States, in coordination with Israel, launched joint airstrikes targeting three of Iran’s primary nuclear facilities — Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan — calling the operation “very successful.”

Declaring the heavily fortified Fordow facility “gone”, Trump said American forces were already returning, marking a major escalation in US involvement in the conflict. In a televised Oval Office address, he warned that Iran now faces a decision between “peace or tragedy,” emphasizing that its enrichment sites had been “completely and totally obliterated.”

The operation was reportedly carried out using B-2 stealth bombers equipped with bunker-busting bombs and submarine-launched Tomahawk cruise missiles. Trump dismissed prior US intelligence suggesting Iran wasn’t actively pursuing nuclear weapons, insisting the threat justified immediate military action.

One user offered a lengthy take: “I want you to actually imagine if a nuclear weapon went off. What do you think would happen to your current life? The answer is: Your life ‘painting’ would end and never resemble what it should have become. Money, sport, travel… everything would change so dramatically, your wouldn’t understand or recognize the new society. Doing what WE, (our country as citizens) did was required. This was no political game Trump played.”

Cloud’s remarks drew intense scrutiny from users who felt her stance was uninformed, as the debate over Trump’s Iran policy continues to polarize public opinion.
