White House offers some advice to Rep Jasmine Crockett after she calls Trump supporters mentally ill

White House offers some advice to Rep Jasmine Crockett after she calls Trump supporters mentally ill

The White House had some words of advice for Democratic firebrand Rep Jasmine Crockett following her derogatory comments about President Donald Trump’s MAGA base (Getty Images)

“It’s incredibly derogatory to accuse nearly 80 million Americans of mental illness,” she said Thursday, June 19. “The last time I checked, Jasmine Crockett couldn’t dream of winning such a majority of the public as President Trump did.”

She praised Trump’s loyal base and offered some advice to Crockett.

“The America First movement, which President Trump has built, is filled with hardworking patriots. The forgotten men and women, business owners, law enforcement officers, nurses and teachers, and Middle America, as we all know from where you all grew up outside of this Beltway. That’s who makes up this president’s movement,” Leavitt explained.

“And Jasmine Crockett should go to a Trump rally sometime, and she can see it for herself,” she quipped.

Leavitt said she hoped Crockett continued being a “rising star” in the Democratic Party, “for the Republican Party, at least,” Fox News reported.

Jasmine Crockett’s mental health tirade

It all started after the Texas Democrat got really candid on Katie Couric’s ‘Next Question’ podcast.

“We’ve got a mental health crisis in this country because everyone, no matter how you affiliate yourself, should be against Trump, period. This is not partisan for me,” Crockett said.

The congresswoman also went on to argue that former Vice President Kamala Harris was more fit to lead the country than Trump, claiming he only got the gig because of his demographic.

She said Trump was elected simply because he’s an “old White man.”

Jasmine Crockett just called all Trump supporters “sick.”

Crockett also claimed she feels deeply for US service members who had to serve under Trump’s leadership.

“My heart breaks for service members, people that signed up to protect democracy and freedom, not only here, but abroad, and were willing to risk their lives,” she said.

“And now, literally, the very thing that they signed up to fight against is now their commander-in-chief. It really breaks my heart. And I don’t know how far he has to go before we can come together and just say, enough is enough.”

As for former President Joe Biden, Crockett didn’t see any red flags concerning his cognitive health. She doubled down on his capabilities, contrasting them with Trump’s.

“We all slow down. But I will tell you that I will take a broken — or however they want to describe Joe Biden — over Donald Trump any given day, because, number one, I know Joe Biden’s heart,” she argued, insisting that Biden’s mental sharpness was “supreme” to Trump’s.

Jasmine Crockett’s Greg Abbott flub

This isn’t Crockett’s first time finding herself in hot water.

The Congresswoman recently took major flak for mocking Texas Governor Greg Abbott by calling him “governor hot wheels” — a comment that obviously did not go over well, given that Abbott is a paraplegic who uses a wheelchair.

Responding to the backlash, Crockett later claimed her insult wasn’t aimed at Abbott’s condition, but rather his immigration policies.

“I wasn’t thinking about the governor’s condition — I was thinking about the planes, trains, and automobiles he used to transfer migrants into communities led by Black mayors, deliberately stoking tension and fear among the most vulnerable,” she wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

“Literally, the next line I said was that he was a ‘hot a** Mess,’ referencing his terrible policies. At no point did I mention or allude to his condition. So, I’m even more appalled that the very people who unequivocally support Trump—a man known for racially insensitive nicknames and mocking those with disabilities—are now outraged,” Crockett added.

Literally, the next line I said was that…
