King Charles wishes ‘happy Father’s Day’ to all dads

Another photo shared in the social media post was of Charles’ wife, Queen Camilla, with her father, Bruce Shand, at their 2015 wedding.

The 76-year-old captioned the pictures with a note that said, “To all Dads everywhere, we wish you a happy Father’s Day today.”

Prince William receives warm wishes from his children on Father’s Day

Prince Charles’ elder son, Prince William, received a shout-out from his three children — Prince George, 11, and Prince Louis, 7, and daughter Princess Charlotte, 10.

The first picture was of the three standing with the future King. The second black and white image showed the children lying on top of their father.

The caption of the post read, “Happy Father’s Day, Papa (before and after!) We love you! G, C & L 💖.”

Both Charles and William share an estranged relationship with Prince Harry.

The Duke of Sussex along with his wife Meghan Markle and two children — Archie and Lilibet — now live in Montecito, California, after leaving senior royal duties in 2020.

Prince Harry wanted to reconcile with his father

Last month, in a very explosive interview with the BBC, Prince Harry said, “There have been so many disagreements between myself and some of my family.”

Also, referring to his 2023 book ‘Spare’, Harry noted, “Some members of my family will never forgive me for writing a book. Of course, they will never forgive me for lots of things.”

Elsewhere during the interview, the 40-year-old even mentioned his father’s cancer battle and added, “Life is precious. I don’t know how much longer my father has, he won’t speak to me because of this security stuff. It would be nice to reconcile.”

But the father-of-two was called out by many, including former press secretary to the late Queen Elizabeth II, Alisa Anderson, who said, “That’s going to cause real concern and more speculation in the media and the wider public about what his (Charles) diagnosis is, which is incredibly unhelpful going forward.”

“What you don’t want to do is have your private life played out in the media. So if you truly want reconciliation, you’ll do it in private, not in a BBC News interview,” she claimed.
